NSW Maritime – Tweed Heads
Pacific Pontoon & Pier have recently installed a new pontoon facility at the Tweed Heads Office for NSW Maritime. After years of berthing their vessels at the local marina, all the staff were thrilled to have a commercial pontoon facility at their doorstep.
The installation included a security gate located on the gangway, fire hose reel and services.

Maroochy River Canoe Trail
Pacific Pontoon & Pier have recently won a tender to build a Canoe launching facility at Dunethin Lake along the Maroochy River on the Sunshine Coast.
The tender required a series of gangways stretching 70 metres to a canoe launching pontoon whilst being disabled compliant and not exceeding a gradient of 1 in 20. Pacific Pontoon designed an intermediate pontoon along the middle of the gangways to accommodate the rise and fall of the tide while maintaining the steady gradient slope.
The facility is due to be opened mid 2009 by Premier Anna Bligh
