Pacific Pontoon & Pier have recently completed the multi-staged marina at Martha Cove on Victoria's Mornington Peninsula. Pacific Pontoon & Pier were commissioned to engineer, design and construct the multi-staged marina in Victoria. The project of 1000 berths is the only protected harbour on the Mornington Peninsula and enjoys unrestricted access to Port Phillip Bay.
From conception to final construction, Pacific Pontoon & Pier engineered, designed, piled, and constructed sharing production from our Victorian manufacturing facility to that of our Queensland facility.
Martha Cove’s design included 4 separate marina stages. The first stage services the houses in stage 1 of the development, being the area immediately inside the sea wall entrance. In total 79 berths were created.
Stage two provided an operating public marina of 234 berths adjacent to the planned Commercial Activity Centre. Fuel supply and pump out services are part of the marina design. Disabled access is provided at the marina.
Stage three provided a Commercial Marina of 79 berths for boat maintenance, Police and Coast Guard services. A land based boat maintenance area was also provided along with double boat ramp launching facilities and associated pontoon.
Stage four provided individual pontoons from 6m to 25m adjoining residential blocks with waterfront boundaries.
The stage 5 harbour provided a further 318 berth marina to support the residential blocks created at the southern end of the development.
Martha Cove is approximately one hour and 20 minutes cruise from Melbourne's CBD and provides a safe haven for a range of vessels between 9 to 30 metres.
